Ok, I'll admit it, I'm hooked, and having just read the Top 50 Lost Loose Ends, I want it to start airing again, arrgh. Some people love it (me included), others loathe it, but either way it's compulsive viewing that's been written so tightly. I don't think I've ever watched a show where the plot is so tightly intertwined with one another.

I don't own a TV. Yes, I'm one of the people who drags the average number of TVs per-household in the UK down from the ridiculously high number it's become. Not having a TV doesn't bother me, I have a media PC setup (without TV tuner card) for watching DVDs, listening to music (5.1 surround sound baby, yeah!) and any other related media needs.

What does annoy me is the fact that the TV Licensing people are like a dog with a rat between its teeth. Once they realise that "shock, horror!" you don't have a TV License, they immediately assume that you're breaking the law and send you some really quite abrupt, rude and threatening letters. I'm sure that the precept "Innocent until proven guilty" doesn't apply, but surely it should? The only way to get them to stop harassing you is to call them on a non-freephone number and inform them you don't posess a TV.

So - to tell them that I don't have a TV, I have to spend money. TV Licensing, go roger yourselves with a piece of 2 by 4.
